Roles and responsibility
- Develop and implement hardware components and systems, including schematics and PCB layouts.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of hardware designs, resolving any issues that arise. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration with software and firmware.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for hardware designs, specifications, and test plans.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement in hardware design methodologies.
- Manage inventory, overseeing procurement and tracking of hardware components.
Engage in discussions and negotiations with manufacturers and distributors.
Facilitate the procurement process for Bill of Materials (BOM) components.
Qualification required
- Excellent knowledge in Microcontroller/ Microprocessor based hardware design and associated subsystems
such as the power supply, I / O interfaces and communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C. - PCB Stackup, Vias and Rules Structure Design.
- Basic RF Design Concepts and working.
- Designing most Power efficient systems.
- Block level Architecture design.
- Managing inventory and good TH and SMD soldering experience.
- Component selection and validation.
- Extensive verification of designs.
- Should know how to use Basic lab equipment.
- Good organizational skills.
- Should be able to multitask on multiple development projects and work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
