Description

Roles and responsibility

Conducting market research and identifying consumer trends.
Translating research into feasible ideas and designs.
Clearly outlining specifications for the stakeholders and designers.
Testing software and the user interface(s) concerning consumer requirements.
Collaborating with the engineers and providing helpful feedback on processes.
Drafting sketches, blueprints, and prototypes to gather feedback.
Using 3D modeling software for detailed designs.
Producing prototypes and models to test functionality.
Researching tools, materials and relevant design techniques.

Qualification required

Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering, arts or related field.
A creative eye, good imagination and vision.
A firm grasp of market trends and consumer preferences.
Practical experience using computer-aided design software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong planning and organisational abilities.
Good problem solving and analytical skills.

Skills required

Prototype design, AutoCAD, Technical drawing, 3D modeling, Solidworks, DFM analysis, Product designing,
Mechanical designing.
