Roles and responsibility
- Utilize Zemax software in both sequential and non-sequential modes to design and optimize optical systems for [specific applications or projects].
- Design and analyze aspherical and spherical lenses to meet performance specifications.
- Apply expertise in polarization concepts to develop optical systems that address specific requirements.
- Develop imaging lens concepts for various applications, ensuring high-quality and efficient performance.
- Design illumination optics concepts to achieve optimal lighting conditions in different environments.
- Work with lasers as light sources, integrating them into optical systems and optimizing their performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and electrical engineers, to ensure seamless integration of optical components.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical expertise in optical design reviews.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in optical technology and incorporate innovative solutions into designs.
Qualification required
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in using Zemax software, with expertise in both sequential and non-sequential modes.
- Strong knowledge of aspherical and spherical lens design and optimization.
- Familiarity with polarization concepts and their application in optical systems.
- Experience in designing imaging lenses for diverse applications.
- Proficiency in illumination optics concepts and their implementation.
- Knowledge of lasers as light sources and their integration into optical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex optical concepts to cross-functional teams.
